St. Julian Samba Showdown 22 by J Thyme '09 - 161 mb - 320 kbps (reup) May '10

For those that downloaded this back in August of '09, please try this update.
I had a little few problems with the quality of some of the tracks on this volume & have reupped this with track fixes. With all the love I can gather for my undying devotion to Musica Popular Brasillia. Just when I think my collection can yield no more...Voilà.

P.S. I dedicate this volume to my two favorite blogs over the past few years, Abracadabra LP's do Brasil & Toque Musical.
My favorite track on this volume is track 12 "Aliás" by Ismael Silva with it's very crisp hi-hat work, so listen for that element. Also, track 3 "Choro Chorao" by Ademilde Fonseca is an amazing example of the Choro style. Very different & what a voice. Miss Fonseca's talent stretches 25 years before this date, so she has the power of experience in her stylings.
